are you ready to invest in a house?

I can only imagine how boring it must be to read about what other people are doing, including me! As the saying goes" I may not be much but I'm all I think about".
We have an ad in The Coffee News and are hoping it generates some business for the names.
We are going ahead with our plans for the Wethersfield Library Exhibit in February and
If any of you guys know anyone who would buy a house for us, the one next door is for sale. We want to buy it so we can have the one at 57 Mapleside be the studio and then I would get to decorate the new house however I want it and have it exactly as I want it.
I put myself to sleep at night imagining how I would arrange our "stuff" and what it would look like and what colors I would paint it.
It's completely move- in ready and has all the neat things that make it comfortable-central air, a great yard, a spare room for company, a fireplace, a double driveway, new siding, a tool shed, a patio. All this for $219,900.00.
There has got to be someone out there who would let us live there as a tax write-off or as an investment in real estate. Let us know if you hear of anyone.
Another way we could do it is to have someone buy the house for us and they would own all of Les's art inventory. That's an idea, too.
Anyway, that's it for today. Love to one and all. Emily and Les

welcome Fran

It's been an eventful birthday-cards, calls from friends and my daughter and grandchildren and my sister Anita,
I got to see one of my friends Patricia but was sorry to have missed my friend Cathy. Another time for sure.
I remember when my father turned 65, he couldn't believe it either. Now that I am at that age I am going to stop being surprised and just let it be. My doctor says"that's not so old" I guess I need to believe him
I received a wonderful present from my husband. For a long time- I don't know when it started- I have wanted a piece of jewelry with emeralds. This year he gave me a pair of emerald earrings. I was so surprised. As anyone who has ever gotten something they reallywanted, it wasn't so much about the gift but it was about being"heard". The shopping and the remembering. It doesn't happen very often and so when it does, it's special.
I will send thank you notes for the gifts from my family and be grateful I have such a wonderful group of people around me who love me.

Happy New Year

Hi and happy new year. It's been a long time between jotting down my notes.
I hate the word "blog" and "webinars" and all those other shortened words.
Don't expect me to use them too much
Anyway all is going pretty well.
WELCOME TO DONNA TO OUR WEBSITE. We are so happy to have anither person. It's fun to know there are other people out there.
It has been a long holiday season with much news to report.
I am 65 on Wednesday and so now I have a Medicare card to carry around.
While I was in New Jersey visiting with the grandkids I threw away my "pretend tooth" at MacDonalds and so now I get to buy another one
We all had a fun time though in spite of that.
We have sold another couple of names and Les continues to create them.
He will have an exhibit at The Wethersfield Library in Februaury and I will need to get someone to help me hang them as Les and I don't work well together!
It took a long time to figure that out. Anyway, more tomorrow. Love Emily
